Stern Pinball, Inc. and Marvel have introduced a new line of pinball games centered around the iconic character Venom. These games are available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models.
Venom, an alien symbiote known for bonding with hosts like Eddie Brock, first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man comics in the 1980s. The symbiote grants its host superhuman abilities and has become a popular figure in Marvel’s universe, inspiring various products and maintaining its influence on popular culture.
The Venom pinball games offer an immersive experience in the Marvel Universe, featuring over 20 characters, including Eddie Brock, Flash Thompson, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Black Suit Spider-Man, Miles Morales, and several Venomized versions of Marvel heroes. Players must help Venom stop his arch-enemy Carnage from awakening Knull, the God of the symbiotes, by battling through Carnage’s army.
Gameplay involves selecting a host to bond with, which affects the physical and digital aspects of the game. The playfield includes vertical pinball lock symbiote containment vessels and dynamically changing pathways. Players can interact with a custom-sculpted Carnage captive ball and face surprise Doppelganger attacks.
The game features hand-drawn comic book-style artwork by Jeremy Packer and music tracks from GRAMMY Award-winning musician Mark Tremonti. It also includes Stern’s Insider Connected™ system, allowing players to save progress and interact with a global network, enhancing the gaming experience.
