Pulp Fiction Pinball Machine

Pulp Fiction is a retro-inspired, fully featured modern pinball machine created at the request, and with the close involvement, of Quentin Tarantino. Designed by legendary pinball creator Mark Ritchie, the game blends 1980s-style aesthetics with deep modern mechanics, featuring over 250 film callouts and five licensed songs from the iconic soundtrack.

Pulp Fiction is a modern pinball machine with a retro 1980s theme, inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s request for a personal machine. Tarantino’s active involvement influenced the game’s development, making it a rare tribute to his work, as he seldom licenses his intellectual property.

  • Legendary pinball designer Mark Ritchie created a playfield that, while initially resembling games from the era, actually contains more mechanisms and depth than most contemporary games.
  • David Thiel immerses players with over 250 iconic lines from the film’s cast, five licensed songs from the original soundtrack, and several original compositions.
  • Josh Sharpe designed a rule set that is both intuitive and engaging for skilled players.
  • Scott Pikulski’s art package is vintage-inspired and visually cohesive.

 

The game was developed in collaboration with Play Mechanix and Chicago Gaming Company, using original Williams pinball mechanisms and reliable Chicago Gaming Company electronics. This collaboration allows for industry-leading warranties, up to eight times longer than most manufacturers.
