The Uncanny X-Men pinball game features iconic characters such as Wolverine, Professor X, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Beast, Rogue, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Bishop, Kitty Pryde, and Magneto. Players embark on an adventure through well-known X-Men locations like the Danger Room, Beast’s Lab, the X-Mansion, and Genosha, interacting with legendary devices such as Cerebro and the X-Jet.
The playfield is designed with innovative crossing shots and ramp layouts, offering dynamic ball trajectories for an engaging experience. The Danger Room, located to the left of the main flippers, provides a challenging mini-flipper and a unique outlane spinner. Premium and Limited Edition models feature an elevated captive ball vari-target themed as Beast’s Lab.
A standout feature is the mechanically articulated Sentinel, which players can battle. In Premium and Limited Edition models, the Sentinel emerges from the playfield, attacking ramps and the ball.
The game is visually enhanced with comic book-style art by Jeremy Packer, aka Zombie Yeti, and features a custom soundtrack by Charlie Benante, immersing players in various time periods. The Days of Future Past storyline is brought to life through animated motion graphics.
