Stern Pinball presents JAWS pinball, inspired by the legendary thriller from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models, the game brings all four JAWS films to life with immersive film clips, custom speech from Richard Dreyfuss, and the iconic score by John Williams.
Stern Pinball, Inc. has introduced their latest pinball games inspired by the iconic film JAWS from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. These games allow players to experience all four JAWS films with new mechanical features and advanced technology. The JAWS pinball games are available in three models: Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE).
Players are transported to Amity Island, a fictional fishing community off Long Island, New York, known for its summer beach vacations. As tourists arrive for the Fourth of July, a shark threat emerges, and the mayor attempts to cover up the attacks to protect tourism, leading to further danger.
In the JAWS pinball games, players take on the roles of Quint, Hooper, and Brody to save the island’s residents and the holiday. The game features animated lighting effects, a motorized “Shark Fin” target, and an “Orca Boat” upper playfield with various interactive elements. A custom sculpted “Great White Shark” bash toy adds to the excitement.
The games incorporate immersive film and audio assets, including custom speech by Richard Dreyfuss and the iconic theme music by John Williams.
Seth Davis, President & CEO of Stern Pinball, expressed enthusiasm for the advanced software and hardware used in the JAWS pinball games, promising a thrilling gameplay experience.
The JAWS pinball games feature Stern’s Insider Connected™ system, allowing players to track progress, earn Achievements, participate in special quests, and improve their Bounty Hunter rank. This system also offers tools for operators to enhance player experience and manage games more effectively.
The Limited Edition model, limited to 1,000 units worldwide, includes exclusive features such as a mirrored backglass, high-definition cabinet decal, custom pinball armor, and a designer-autographed bottom arch. It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Stern’s leadership.
